what we offer
Multimedia Lab
The Digital Union's multimedia lab gives you access to computer stations with multimedia software and equipment for developing videos, audio recordings, websites, images, and electronic documents.
A visit to our multimedia lab is an opportunity to learn and use new technologies to evaluate what uses for them you may have in mind, or a chance to create and finish a project.
Specialized Stations
Macintosh Video Production
We have two stations set up for video editing using either Final Cut Pro or iMovie. They are also have DVD Studio Pro and iDVD for creating a final DVD of your project.
PC Video Editing
We have two PC stations set up for video editing with Adobe Premiere.
Macintosh Scanning
Our Macintosh Scanning station is equipped with an Epson Perfection 4990 flatbed scanner, a Nikon CoolScan V slide scanner, and the Adobe Suite including Acrobat Professional.
PC Scanning
Our PC scanning station is equipped with an HP Scanjet 8250 flatbed scanner and the Adobe Suite including Acrobat Professional.

Printing
Corporate Collaborators place demo printers in our multimedia lab as part of the Digital Union's mission to showcase new technology to The Ohio State University community.
Printing is managed through the Pharos system which requires you to swipe your BuckID. Only 8.5"x11" plain paper is provided. If you wish to use any other type or size of paper, you must provide it yourself.
