TEAMS (which stands for "Technology, Education, and Multimedia Skills") is a unique opportunity created by TELR and the Digital Union for graduate and undergraduate students to expand their technology skills while working with faculty and staff.
The TEAMS program consists of technology skills building sessions for students who are working with faculty on research or coursework, or for students working with staff in college or department offices. In these sessions, students receive both hands-on training and exposure to concepts such as intellectual property, universal design and accessibility, and eLearning pedagogy.
Faculty and staff can propose different models of the TEAMS program to accomodate the projects they have in mind. These different models include:
Students participating in TEAMS may earn course credit through field experience or independent study.
To participate in TEAMS faculty and staff must submit a TEAMS project proposal through the online form located at the following URL:

Any questions regarding the TEAMS program should be directed to the Digital Union through the Digital Union's contact form.
TEAMS is the next generation of program developed by TELR as a successor to the TELR Internship in Learning and Technology. While the TELR Internship matched individual students with faculty projects to develop course materials, the TEAMS experience is designed for groups of students working under the direction of faculty or staff toward a variety of goals.
Since the TEAMS program is a successor to the TELR Internship in Learning and Technology, TELR is no longer accepting TELR Internship proposals. For students interested in developing multimedia skills on their own, the Digital Union provides one-on-one assistance and tutoring and can help you meet your goals.
