Undergrad. Research

I highly recommend every student participate in some form of undergraduate research, as it is an enlightening experience for anyone planning on graduate school.  Most people associate research with sciences. However, there are copious research opportunities in almost every academic field providing invaluable experience-vital for graduate school and job applications.

What about Dr. Bruno?

About Joe Broderick
"Emancipate yourself from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds." -Bob Marley
Joe Broderick (the web designer) is a undergraduate at The Ohio State University pursuring a double major in psychology and biology with an economics minor.  My rather ominous birthday is September 11, 1984. In my hometown of Cincinnati, I attended All Saints for grade school and St. Xavier High School.  I have been interested in the brain since I can remember, not surprising since my father Dr. Joseph Broderick M.D. is the chairman of neurology at the University of Cincinnati. I started working in Dr. Bruno's lab Spring Quarter of 2004 under the auspices of the Psychology 693 program, which awards course credit toward one's major for undergraduate research.  The 693 program is an engaging introduction to actual field work, allowing one to escape the lecture-based format of learning.
