Stephen Kuusisto came to the Ohio State University in the year 2000 to be a Professor of English, Creative Writing and Disability Studies and to help develop the Disability Studies program. He is an Advisor to the undergraduate and graduate students in the Disability Studies program and currently serves as co-editor of Disability Studies Quarterly with Brenda Brueggemann and Scot Danforth. He has helped develop new undergraduate and graduate courses that focus on disability studies in the humanities, particularly literature and film.
