Jim Baker
Jim Baker, who is currently a Disability Specialist at Duke University, was the former Counselor/Coordinator of Academic Support Services and Resource Specialist for the Office for Disability Services from 1985 to 1997. Some of the events he remembers from his history with the office include the establishment of the computer learning center for students with disabilities, the computerized exam testing program, and Disability Awareness events on campus. He was also involved in the development of a peer-tutoring program comprised of 120 students. Ohio State is “a great University, a great place to work and great students with disabilities to work with!” says Baker.
