Heidi Keller is the Director of the Adapted Recreational Sports (ARS) Program. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Exercise Science and has been with the program for almost six years. When she first began in her position it was a split appointment between Aquatics and Adapted Recreational Sports, but she decided to focus on ARS when the program began to grow.

She has conducted two major changes in the program since she arrived. She hired a staff of mainly student employees as well as students interning for their academic programs. She also changed the fee structure so that the classes remain free for Ohio State students with disabilities, but the community, faculty and staff have to pay a fee. Keller changed the fee structure in order to help the program grow and keep the equipment in good condition.

Keller hopes to expand to program to reach more people. She would like to see an Adapted Recreational Sports course offered to Ohio State students. She says that one of the programs main goals is to create disability awareness on campus and that is why she wants to get more student and community involvement.
