The Conference on Mental Health for Persons who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing was sponsored by the School of Social Work and the Ohio Department of Mental Health. It was held on November 16, 1998 at the Fawcett Center. Dr. I. King Jordan, President of Gallaudet University, gave the keynote address. It is the second conference aimed at assisting with the mental health of people with hearing impairments.
