Discovering the Stories of Native Ohio

Discovering the Stories of Native Ohio focuses upon the oral histories of 63 Native American Indians in Ohio that have been collected by students and faculty at the Newark Earthworks Center (NEC). Our research consists of a content analysis of these video interviews. In addition, we have compared the demographic representation in these interviews to the Native American population of Ohio according to census records. The comparison then can be used to shape future collection efforts of the archive at the NEC.
