Autumn 2007 Workshops

Locking it Down: Simple Laptop Security

When: Tuesday October 9^th, 2007 10:00am–12:00pm
Where: Rm 370, Science and Engineering Library

Registration is required. (Register)

Come learn how to secure your laptop inside and out! This workshop will cover: Topics covered include: File Management and Housekeeping Tips, Protecting your files, Setting Good passwords, and Deterring Theft & Laptop Recovery products. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops—Mac or PC—to the session to apply what they learn.
