Please join us for the sixth annual Research on Research (R2) showcase, August 26, from 11:30 am–1:30 pm. President E. Gordon Gee and CIO Kathleen Starkoff will offer opening remarks.
This summer program sponsored by the Digital Union pairs undergraduate students with faculty members to collaborate on a research project and to develop a multimedia portfolio documenting their research process and findings.
During the showcase, students will present their work and answer questions related to their research. Project topics include:

- Heavy Metal Evaluation of Soil in Columbus Community Gardens
- HPV and Cervical Cancer Communication in Appalachia
- International Travel and Political Activism
- Learning and Memory in Infants Born Preterm
- Microhabitat Selection in Small-bodied Arachnids
- The New Parents Project
- NF-kappaB independent Cell Survival Regulation in Differentiated Skeletal Muscle
- Novel Approaches to Drug Discovery: Implications in Nicotine Addiction
- Resurrection of Lithophane Techniques in the Ceramic Arts
