World Usability Day is a project of the Usability Professionals' Association — promoting usability concepts and techniques worldwide. With events occurring around the world, there will be 36 hours of events to attend in person and online. The theme of this year's event is Healthcare.
The Digital Union will host a World Usability Day event on November 8th, 2007 in Room 370, Science and Engineering Library. The program will kick-off with a reception sponsored by ICC and a business meeting by the local UPA chapter, COUPA.
Presentations will be by Dr. Prabu David of the OSU School of Communication, Donald A. Cox of Klein Associates, and Bob Hale of Resource Interactive. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Tingting Lu, OSU doctoral candidate specializing in usability and Nolan Crabb, Director of Assistive Technology at The Ohio State University.
