Student Response Systems in the Classroom

A Turning Point clicker device

On October 10th, Turning Technologies will offer three free presentations on its newest student response systems (also called clickers).

Turning Point‘s Carrie Greenaway will showcase the newest technologies for designing interactive classroom presentations to gauge student understanding and provide real-time feedback on the success of classroom lecture material.

These free presentations will be offered at 2 pm, 3pm and 4 pm on October 10th at the Digital Union. Please contact us to sign up.

Featured technologies include:

  • TurningPoint 2008 - Office 2007 ready, with a series of new special features
  • TurningPoint Anywhere – gives professors the ability to poll without using PowerPoint
  • ResponseCard XR – this new clicker with an LCD display allows for self paced testing, numeric answers and fill in the blank responses.
  • TestingPoint – gives professors the ability to create tests and quizzes in Microsoft Word using Turning Point toolbars and pre-formatting.
