Incorporating Online Rich Media Into The Campus Learning Environment
Sonic Foundry's Mediasite, an innovative tool for recording Rich Media presentations, has the potential to be a valuable asset to deliver knowledge to both the traditional, on-campus student and the online, distance education student.
The Digital Union will be hosting an event exploring the use of Rich Media presentations as an educational tool, discussing the following topics:
- Rich Media - what is it, and why is it effective?
- Simplifying the process of recording high quality Rich Media.
- Empowering ALL faculty with the ability to create Rich Media content.
- Incorporating the recording of Rich Media into an electronic classroom.
- Designing a Rich Media system that will efficiently scale across a campus.
- Incorporating Rich Media into your courseware management system.
- Case Studies: where Rich Media systems are being used effectively in higher education.
- Trends in online delivery and the latest updates with Mediasite – where we are now, and where we are headed.
This event will be held on August 10th, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Lunch will be served. Registration is required to attend. Register At:
