Announcing 2006 Research on Research Grant Recipients
TELR is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2006 Research on Research: Student-Faculty ePartnerships grants. The program, now in its third year, promotes faculty-undergraduate student research partnerships with summer stipends and multimedia support. For 2006, President Holbrook has contributed special funding to the program.
This year's recipients are:

- Professor Brenda Brueggemann (Interdisciplinary Disability Studies) and Karla Kmetz (Psychology)
- Professor Jeffrey Cohen (Anthropology) and Francisco Montiel-Ishino (Anthropology)
- Professor Ana Del Sarto (Spanish) and Laura Herbert (Spanish)
- Dr. Virginia Folcik Nivar (Surgery) and Christie Sass (Molecular Genetics)
- Professor Roger Ratcliff (Psychology) and Andrew Webb (Psychology)
- Professor Dennis Shaffer (Psychology) and Andrew Maynor (Psychology)
- Professor Richard Shiels (History) and Kristin Hayes (History)
- Professor R. Brian Stone (Design) and Mason Harding (Design)
- Professor Don Terndrup (Astronomy) and Cayman Unterborn (Astronomy)
Through the program, grant recipients participate in research with their faculty partners and develop multimedia skills by creating electronic portfolios describing their summer research. Multimedia work for the project will be based at the Digital Union, Room 370 of the Science and Engineering Library, where students have access to multimedia hardware, software, and expert support.
