Videoconferencing Technology Training Workshop
When: Thursday, November 17, 2005; 9 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 4 PM. Lunch on your own.

Please join us for a Videoconferencing Technology Training Workshop designed to show technical support people how to install, set up and run high-quality H.323 video conferencing equipment. The workshop includes: Introduction to videoconferencing and the H.323 Standard; understanding endpoints, MCUs, and gatekeepers; streaming and network issues with H.323; and environmental considerations. Participants will have hands-on experience in setting up an endpoint, and making a call. The workshop is presented by Dr. Bob Dixon, Research Engineer; Megan Troyer, Technology Coordinator; and Gabe Moulton, Technology Engineer. Windows PC experience is a pre-requisite for participants.
