Introduction to Cybersecurity Training Workshop Offered

Introduction to Cybersecurity will be offered to Ohio State University faculty and staff on the afternoon of November 29th.   Registration is required. The class will be held in the Office of Human Resources new facilities in the Gateway Project.

This is not a technical class. This session is meant to inform managers and others who use - rather than administer - computers and networks. The session will not, for example, cover the details of how to secure a Windows computer. It will provide attendees with basic information about information technology security issues encountered on a daily basis. How to avoid behaviors that cause many cybersecurity problems on campus will also be covered.
