Do you need to show a movie to your class or assign an out of class viewing due to shortened class times? If so, the Secured Media Library is the perfect tool to suit your needs. The library already contains thousands of titles and has the ability to add new temporary titles from a personal or departmental collection.
Recent improvements have also made using the library even easier. Finding the right title for use in your course is now quicker with a handy Go to my media link for your temporary addition titles as well as a robust advanced search. The layout of information on the title detail page has been polished and now includes covert art and more bibliographic metadata. Once you’ve located your title the new embedded player for Standard and High quality works seamlessly inside your browser without the need for an external player to be installed. There are also links for Android and iOS mobile devices. On the home screen there’s a strip of your eight most recently viewed titles so that you don’t have to go searching again once you’ve played a movie.
If you’d like to try out the Secured Media Library for one of your courses, don’t hesitate to look through the collection and always feel free to contact us with any questions or for a personalized demonstration.
