Digital Union to the Power of Two

Photo of Cricket NardacciThe Digital Union is pleased to announce the opening of our Hagerty Hall site, in Room 171A. Open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m.-9 p.m., this location offers 15 Mac work stations. Currently, the Hagerty Hall site has black and white printing services as well as plotter printer printer access, each via authentication with your BuckID.

Image of a check markThere is enthusiastic interest in printing services at our Hagerty Hall location! Want to use the plotter printer? To confirm its availability before your visit, we encourage you to contact us.

The Digital Union at Hagerty Hall also features a collaborative work station with built-in VGA and HDMI cables. Work table users can select from a total of five overall inputs (three HDMI and two VGA) to toggle from one input display to another. Two Mac adapters (VGA2) for the latest MacBooks are available for temporary loan to users of the Digital Union at Hagerty Hall; those with older versions of the MacBook will need to bring their own adapters. In addition, there are a number of comfortable chairs for working and lounging, each equipped with a movable writing surface and under-seat storage.

Another nifty feature of the Digital Union at Hagerty Hall: mobile scanning carts, which make scanning possible from any of that site’s 15 work stations. (In contrast, visitors to the Science and Engineering Library location of the Digital Union must use specific work station equipped with an adjacent scanner.)

Interested in making a reservation to use a Digital Union work station? While either location can accept reservations for the other, we recommend you contact the site you intend to use, so that we can help you just a little more quickly.
