Launch your Autumn Semester with a Tech Two-a-Day session!

Every day during the week of August 13-17, the Digital Union is hosting a workshop to help you get ready for autumn semester.  We also have an expanded series of five Web Fundamentals workshops coming up in the fall, beginning on Tuesday, September 4, and Ken Petri from OSU’s Web Accessibility Center will lead a series of six Usability for All workshops beginning on Tuesday, October 2.

 

Monday (8/13)
10 a.m.  PowerPoint Basics
2 p.m.    Create a Course in iTunes UTech Two-a-Days Monsters

Tuesday (8/14)
10 a.m.  Carmen Workshop: QuickStart
2 p.m.    Go paperless! Surveying, Grading & Proofreading w/ Acrobat Pro

Wednesday (8/15)
10 a.m.  iPad 101
11:15 a.m.  iPad: Creating Content
12 p.m.  Using News Resources to Enliven Instruction and Engage Students
1 p.m.    LectureTools: Make your PowerPoints and Lectures Engaging and Interactive
2 p.m.    Using Microsoft Word and Calibre to Create an eBook

Thursday (8/16)
10 a.m.  Teaching and Learning with the iPad
2 p.m.    iPad Productivity

Friday (8/17)
10 a.m.  Excel at Microsoft Excel: An Introduction
2 p.m.    Research in View User Training

    Now this is something to pay attention to! I wonder if I could do a “Tech Two-a-Day” over two different days? :-)
