Registration for Innovate 2012 is now open!
Kathy Starkoff, CIO and Michael Hofherr, Senior Director of Learning Technology in the OCIO, invite you and your colleagues to Innovate, the OCIO’s annual conference featuring the best uses of technology in teaching and learning across the nation. Held on Thursday, April 12th, 2012, Innovate is a free event at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on Ohio State’s campus.
This year’s theme, transformation, highlights the ways that technology can promote dramatic changes in the ability to engage students in the classroom and impact research and field study opportunities across the globe. One of the goals of Innovate is to create connections among faculty and staff who are interested in exploring the relationship between technology and teaching.
Special guests this year include keynote speaker Karen Cator, Director of the Office of Education Technology, U.S. Department of Education, Joe Lambert, Founder of the Center for Digital Storytelling and Don Henderson, Senior Manager, Creative Expression for Apple Education.
Registration will be open Monday, March 12 through Friday March 30th. Please visit elearning.osu.edu for more info or email InnovateU@osu.edu. Hope to see you in April!
