Check Out Reddit!
The Front Page of Reddit features the most popular links from the website, however users can select what content will appear on their homepage by creating an account and subscribing to subreddits that interest them. The term “subreddit” is a little confusing, so think of it as a community of people with interests in a specific topic. I enjoy a wide variety of content so I am subscribbed to just over 30 different subreddits.
Reddit is also a great tool for driving traffic to your blog or website. If you are creating thought provoking, dynamic content that is targeted to a specific audience, consider submitting a link to a relevant subreddit. If users enjoy the link, they will upvote it, which raises its “rank” on the website, which drives more traffic to your site! Be sure to provide original content with catchy headlines!
The text based layout may take some getting used to, but in my opinion, Reddit is best social news site on the internet. Try it out!
