I’ve been working with a team from Apple on a mobile initiative over the past few months and have come across some great tips and tricks about how to drive the iPad. I thought I’d drop in a few posts in the next month or two to highlight these discoveries. The first and best resource I’ve encountered is the iPad User Guide. An extensive, yet simple guide to every single thing the iPad can do. Not sure how to FaceTime from your iPad? Go to help.apple.com/support in your Safari browser on the iPad, tap FaceTime, and you find everything you need to know in 6 easy steps. Want to learn more about how Reminders works? Hit Reminders in the left hand column and you’re all set. Clearly organized “At a Glance” and “Getting Started” sections are also a fantastic resource.

Keep in mind that when you hit this link on a laptop or desktop instead of an iPad, you will not have access to the same fantastic interface, so grab an iPad, your own or a loaner from the Digital Union, and give it a go. Happy learning!
Oh, and if you want to know how to take an iPad screenshot like the one above, just hit your power and home buttons on the iPad at the same time, then open up your camera app and find it.
