The Carmen team is preparing to remove the next batch of “old” Carmen courses from the system. On November 30, Carmen academic course sites from Winter 2009 and Spring 2009 will be deleted. Carmen sites that were created for administrative and research purposes will not be removed.
Instructors in affected courses should already have received an email notice with more information. Department chairs, college deans, and instructional technology support staff also received notices.
Removal of old course shells is part of Carmen’s regular maintenance cycle. We keep academic course sites (created automatically for courses listed by the Registrar) that were used by instructors for at least two years plus one term. Course sites that were not used may be removed from Carmen at any point following the term in which they were created.
More information is available online.
