November 6, 2008 marks the tenth anniversary of the world’s largest single videoconference. Over its ten years, the Megaconference has reached every continent on Earth and consistently includes hundreds of sites worldwide, with participation numbering in the thousands. Come be a part of the global community. You can hear about video conferencing technology and its application in education, or just stop by to take a virtual trip to far off locations.
You can participate on campus by coming to the Digital Union for a self guided experience, on the 3rd floor of the Science & Engineering Library, 175 W. 18th Avenue, between 9:30 am and 8:00 pm; stop in for a moment or stay for a while. You also can watch a stream of the event or participate with others from within Second Life.
